Kathy Pollard
Kathy has lived in Montville for 35 years. She has 2 children and 2 Grandchildren. Kathy is a graduate of Fitch Senior High School in Groton, CT. Kathy’s mother, Retired State Senator Mary A. Martin was her role model and instilled in her the necessity to give back to the community. Kathy is employed at Byles & McDougall Funeral Home as well as Woyasz & Son Funeral Home as a Funeral Assistant. Kathy additionally works with her elderly clients at Companions & Homemakers Inc. Also, she is a limousine driver and a Sales Representative for Sound Wave Magazine. Kathy is an incumbent Town Councilor having been elected initially in 2005 and served until 2007. She was then re-elected to the Town Council in 2011, 2013, 2015 & 2017. She is currently the liaison to the Commission on the Aging, and Non-Profit Organizations. She is also a Standing Committee mem-ber of the Public Works/Solid Waste Committee. Previously while serving on the Town Council, Kathy has served as the liaison to the Non-Profit Organizations, Public Works & Solid Waste, Youth Services Bureau, Town Administra-tion/Rules & Procedures, Finance Committee, and Planning and Zoning Com-mittee. She desires to serve the people of Montville because she believes that with her vitality and high energy she will continue to help move Montville forward. We need Kathy and her experience.
Colleen Rix
Colleen has been a lifelong resident of Montville. Colleen has four children in the Montville School System. She is involved with and works in her family’s small business in town. Colleen was elected to the Montville Board of Education in 2015. Her civic activities include being elected to Chairman of the Montville Republican Town Committee. Colleen feels that while being on the BOE she has been a dedicated voice to her constituents and that she has made it a priority to bring a sensible approach to decision making. If elected to the Montville Town Council, Colleen will contin-ue to work for the members of community, building on the growing positive changes that make Montville such a great town.
Joe Rogulski
Joe Rogulski has lived in the Palmertown section of Montville for over 30 years. He has 5 children enrolled in the Montville School System. Strong family roots are what motivated Joe to run in 2015. Joe has over 24 years of experience in Information Technol-ogy and is presently employed in management at Davis Standard in Pawcatuck, CT. He is also a shareholder in a small business in Montville. Over the years, Joe has been active in the town coach-ing youth soccer as well as volunteering with Montville Little League and Cub Scouting. Joe is an incumbent Town Councilor having been elected initial-ly in 2015 and again in 2017. Joe is currently a Standing member of the Town Administra-tion/Rules & Procedures, liaison to the Youth Advisory Board, the Volunteer Fire Fighters Fund Committee and the Library Committee. Previously he served as the liaison to the Economic Development Commission and the Planning and Zoning Commission. Joe’s positivity, dedication and common sense approach is an asset to the residents of this town. With a caring and helpful demeanor Joe Rogulski is Montville.
